Food Waste

Wastesavers are expanding the trial food waste collections that have been taking place across the city. This scheme is in partnership with Newport City Council and looks to divert all cooked and uncooked food waste from landfill, including meat, fish and bones!

The next expansion is due in the summer of 2009 and will see caddies delivered to an additional 3700 households in Newport.
